Class of Nuke ‘Em High (1986)

From the makers of The Toxic Avenger comes another environmentally-themed exploitation flick. High schoolers are exposed to radiation poisoning from the local nuclear power plant and begin exhibiting a variety of horrible skin deformities and mutations. This gives plenty of opportunities to showcase gross humor and make-up effects as the good kids invariably become evil and corrupted. Filled with worthless action sequences, the concept does get a little old and doesn’t do as good a job of remaining as consistently entertaining as Toxie. There are two other movies in this series, but as a general rule if the first installment is bad, then I won’t bother with the others.
