CARNIVAL OF SOULS [1962]
It's creepy, haunting, weird and made on a very low budget.
Obviously a huge influence on David Lynch, John Carpenter and baffling thriller's like Jacob's Ladder, Carnival is a cult-classic that deserves more attention than what it's received.
With a unique setting and fascinating plot set-up Carnival lingers for some time after it's done and begs for future viewings to understand and absorb the bizarre and unsettling atmosphere horror films rarely ever visit in modern cinema.
