Peur(s) du noir (2007)

aka: Fear(s) of the Dark

Anthology animation from France that flits between greyscale and black and white, traditional 2D hand drawn and 3D computer animated styles. Six directors each explore a different facet of fear, mostly the fear of things that dwell in the darkness.
It's not great. The first and last of the stories were the most entertaining; the last one in particular had some wonderful use of lighting and reminded me of Poe. It works best when it resembles an animated comic book.

3 bugs and wolves and severed heads out of 5
