Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000)
Return of the Joker is an excellent film in its own right, but more than anything else, it's a showcase for Mark Hamill. He's always done a brilliant job voicing the Joker, but he's never been creepier, never been more darkly funny, and never been any better than he is here. No one's ever brought Joker to life like he has, and this film is the proof.
Like in all Bruce Timm projects, the fight scenes are beautifully choreographed, and the additional budget on this one made for some wonderfully smooth sequences. Whether you're a fan of Batman Beyond, a fan of the Timmverse, or just a fan of animation in general, it's a great watch. Just be sure to watch the unedited version for the full experience.

I wasn't too familiar with the "Batman Beyond" universe before seeing this. I went in quite leery with this one...
...and ended up loving it.
Probably my 2nd favorite animated Bats film.
Same! It's second only to Mask of the Phantasm for me.
I heard that the cover was based off a poster for "The Man Who Laughs".
