Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (1998)

Victor Fries (Michael Ansara) does the wrong things for arguably the right reason: for love, but it's the all-consuming kind that can cloud judgment and rationale. He's a tragic figure whom tragedy seems to follow, even when far from civilisation. Batman (Kevin Conroy) is forced to take him down.
The film could've been so much more. Bruce should understand the desire that Fries succumbs to and be sympathetic, while being simultaneously torn between his feelings and his duty (as usual), but that part is played down. It's still great, though, and is a lot more action orientated than the previous Batman: TAS film. There's some great work from Gordon (Bob Hastings), too.

3½ vital signs out of 5
