AKA: The Horror Show
This movie took the Halloween III: Season of the Witch approach and went in a completely different direction than the previous two. Lucas (Lance Henriksen) is a detective who’s sent a prolific serial killer to the chair. Catching on fire, the murderer swears to come back and plot his revenge on him. Now Lucas is hallucinating and has trouble separating fantasy from reality while everyone begins to wonder whether he’s losing it. Resembling a great deal of the plot of Shocker or Fallen (although not as good as either of those), it has one or two cheesy moments, but for the most part it’s played straight.
