Will Smith has achieved the impossible. He's gone from being an engaging and charismatic leading man in his early career to churning out watery shit that even Eddie Murphy would be embarrassed to appear in. I hear Murphy is preparing to pass over his crown of shit to the young Prince.
I dislike this one too. Wanted to like it, cause Will Smith and Kevin James are both pretty likable dudes, but it made me so freaking mad. Has a lot of the worst rom com tropes.
also: I think Hitch is much better than most recent Eddie Murphy offerings, but I also think Will Smith has never made anything as awesome as Coming to America.
I'd like to see James do more voicework. I think he'd be great as a villain. I noticed on King Of Queens he does this low, almost creepy, voice sometimes. It's wonderful. :laugh:

It was a universally panned rom-com. :laugh:
