A woman is targeted on a blind date via a series of air-drops sent to her phone warning her to keep quiet and do as instructed or risk her son getting killed. The premise is solid, although the execution feels all over the place. It's fun for a few Hitchcockian thrills, but it's nothing too special. The performances take center stage here, even when it all falls apart towards the end.

I'm so old, I'm not quite sure what a 'drop' is... Is it like StreetPass for 3DS? Not 100% sure on what that is, either, and I owned a 3DS... I get from the context of the trailer that it's like the new, "The killer is in your house~" I.e., nearby.
Flip-phones and cds, REPRESENT.
I'll be honest, I've only heard of the concept in theory, although I don't think my phone can accept them. Basically people can send unsolicited shit to your phone via Wi-Fi if you're within a certain range? But you don't necessarily know who it is, and she's in a restaurant of about 50 people.
Yeah, it's essentially one of those "the call is coming from inside the house" kind of situations, just upgraded to new tech.
