CHAINED [2012]

Director Jennifer Lynch continues her run of extremely disturbing films that cease to have much of a purpose with 2012's Chained.
Vincent D'onofrio is effectively menacing as a serial killer that raises a victim's child to become his protege, played by Eamon Farren in a truly haunting performance.  Fantastic acting aside, the film fails to really get a grasp on it's full potential or the character depths it could have explored..  It manages to pack in a few excellent twists & turns at the end but they're so rushed and poorly executed it feels like last second rewrites.
