Lady Death (2004)

There are moments in LD where the animation reminds me of the Vampire Hunter D (1985) anime; it's so obvious that I'm sure it was intentional.
Unfortunately, that's the only praise I can heap on this colourful piece of shit. It's a shallow eighty minutes filled with characters that have no depth whatsoever. The voice work pendulums between passable and painful.
There was definite potential and as a weekly series I think it might have worked, but it's too late to ask for that now.
