Cube Zero (2004)

The third outing is a prequel to the first one. It shows what life is like for the people outside the Cube, the people whose job it is to monitor what goes on inside. It’s us watching them watching the others. An interesting concept can sometimes be enough to save a film from mediocrity, but in this case it doesn't quite do it.
What’s worse is that it dares to attempt to explain a specific part of the first film, a part that was better left as it was.
On the plus side, it ignored all the bullshit that happened in the second film.
