The Sadness (2021)

AKA: 哭悲 (Kū Bēi)

A new strain of virus turns people into bloodthirsty homicidal maniacs. Sound familiar? Like any number of 'fast zombie' movies (28 Days Later, Train to Busan, etc.), it's stylish and ultra-violent, but this one gets under your skin.
The title is kind of a misnomer, because it refers to sadism, rather than the emotion of being sad. Though it may also refer to the fact that the infected cry because they know what they're about to do. It's like trying to resist blinking.
