Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person (2023)

AKA: Vampire humaniste cherche suicidaire consentant

In a family of vampires, the youngest daughter grows empathy and refuses to kill. She is sent to live with her unconventional cousin who has her own way of handling things, while she visits a support group to locate a willing sacrificial victim. Major props to this French-Canadian production for doing something different with the tired vampire genre, and it's quite funny to boot. This movie is kind of perfect in its metaphors. It's such a simple concept, but completely believable and brilliantly executed.
