PAWN SHOP CHRONICLES [2013]

Director Wayne Kramer's violent comedy Pawn Shop Chronicles is pretty much trash but really really entertaining trash.
You get white supremacist wannabes, freaked out meth-heads, low-life Elvis impersonators, sadistic perverts and more, all of which are largely despicable yet oddly alluring and humorous when put in a film like this.  Each actor plays their parts with over the top enthusiasm which helps bring the misdirected script together a bit more.  It's disturbing, vulgar, creepy, disgusting and most of all really funny.

WAITING...[2005]

Ever wondered what it's like to work in a restaurant?
2005's Waiting... takes you behind the scenes in all it's crude, perverted, angry, foul-mouthed and always hilarious glory.
It doesn't try to do anything but make you laugh and give a better insight into the day of the people who cook and serve your fucking food, you cunts. It's not gold but it's obviously written by someone with experience and that's what makes it great.

THE FRIGHTENERS [1996]

Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson's first dip into mainstream film-making is an odd one that makes me wonder how he ever got the job of directing the Middle Earth films.
1996's The Frighteners is a horror-comedy that is disturbing as it is funny. It's entertaining and well-paced in it's theatrical cut but the director's cut slows the pace down and throws in some face-palming gags that dumbs it down.
If you're looking for a fun big budget Jackson film but still in the same vein as his earlier independent works than this would be it.
