Witchery (1988)

aka: Witchcraft / La Casa 4

With Linda ‘pea-soup’ Blair and David ‘chest-rug’ Hasselfhoff as leads it was doomed from the beginning. It’s a sequel to an unofficial sequel of Evil Dead II (called La Casa 2 in Italy), but has none of the charm of Raimi's masterpiece. The acting is atrocious. The editing is appalling; it feels like it was cut with a bread knife. The Dir gets lucky once or twice, when there's no dialogue and no Hoff he pulls out some stylised Italian horror moments, but it can’t save the film from the fires of hell. I stuck it out to see just how bad it could get. It hit new levels of bad.

I've seen the trailer for this and have always wondered about it. Of course it looks terrible but just seeing Hasselhoff in it intrigues me enough to try it. It's on my Netflix queue somewhere. I think I'll bump it up. I want to see just how bad it is as well.

Good luck. :p
It got a 3 on IMDB so clearly there are fans of this kind of thing.
I'm one of the haters.

Finished watching it before I left for work. It was absolutely atrocious but there were a few good scenes of gore. I couldn't stop laughing every time someone went down the "hell drain". Not sure if you watched the official dvd but it had trailers for the director's other films including the cult favorite Troll 2 and Porno Holocaust. You rated it perfectly.
