Xavier Gens' Frontière(s) has everything you've come to expect from the torture porn genre. Annoyingly stupid kids, cannibals, neo-nazi's, big dumb fat guys with meathooks & pigs, crazy meal time with the family, deformed human beings, the one sympathetic freak, etc, etc. It basically plays like a "best of the torture porn" genre as it draws from every other film before it and offers nothing new in itself. Even if you like this type shit, it's still a complete waste of time.

I know it basically rips off Texas Chainsaw Massacre like so many others but I loved this movie. I've watched this with horror and action movie fans and both found it very satisfying.
Though I didn't like Xavier Gens latest movie The Divide as much.

The characters pissed me off to no end.
I don't usually yell at the screen but I did so many times.
"RUN! You dumb bint!" "Stop crying and keep moving!" "Pick up the gun!" "Pick up the ax!" "SHOOT HIM!" "DON'T GO IN THERE!" "STOP MAKING NOISES!"
Eventually, I just gave up and said "you know what? Just die already".
Well if movie characters made all the right steps then there wouldn't be many interesting films.
I'm open to mistakes and bad choices here and there...but constantly?
I think there's a difference between making all the wrong steps and being annoyingly stupid.
