SOULM8TE (2026)

A software engineer grieving the loss of his wife decides to take the AI beta companion model out for a spin and easily falls for it when it presents as the perfect partner. As he tweaks her code and removes the restrictions to make her more human, of course it all backfires on him. This spin-off of the M3GAN series leans more towards sci-fi erotic thriller, as both the natural evolution of Her and Ex Machina, and yet another formulaic cautionary tale in the style of AfrAId. Personally, this is everything I've ever wanted in my life. Believe me, when robots get to the point of looking like that, I won't fucking care.

Evil Dead Rise (2023)

Evil Dead in a high-rise building. Another standalone entry in the series, this one aims to go darker places, which was never solely the charm of the original movies for me. While the Deadites are memorable, it's missing the hero at the center of it, and Bruce Campbell only has a small uncredited role as a voice on a recording. Unfortunately, this is one of those movies where the trailer ruins absolutely everything about it, so make sure to go into it blind for best results.
