U.S. version of the Danish psychological horror film (which itself was almost entirely in English).
This remake turned out to be exactly what I thought it would be. It follows the initial beats of the earlier film closely, but the entire third act has been completely overhauled to make it more palatable for American audiences. The original was much more brutal and uncompromising and stayed with me longer, while this one felt predictable, watered down and ephemeral. Ho-hum.
I'm still very annoyed by the marketing of this movie, which gave away one of the major twists at the end. Maybe they should have taken the advice on the poster and shut the fuck up.
2 stupid rabbit toys out of 5

Does 'rabbit toys' qualify this one for the Bunny Collection?
(I don't know how to add a hyperlink in this comment thing.)
You'll have to copy/paste:

Oh wow, I had no idea about that particular collection. It's a kid's stuffed animal named Hoppy, but I don't know if that itself would be enough to qualify for it. What says you?
I'm wondering also if I should stick Blink Twice in there because of a recurring reference to "red rabbits" (which isn't explained until later and might be considered a spoiler). Hmmm.
I don't recall if it had any strict criteria other than a bunny was used in a meaningful way, whether that be Donnie Darko-esque or as a stuffed toy being carried (or tossed) around. I don't even recall how it started, but every blog should have a bunny someplace. :-)
Neg is this Collection's author, so we'll need a word from him. If we both think really hard about Silent Hill's Robbie the Rabbit, then he might appear...
That particular number is no longer in service, but I've been in the area, of late, so here I am~ As far as I'm concerned, it's directly akin to dark counterparts: A bunny is a bunny. Doesn't have to be deep.
You don't have to explain why something is in the collection, meaning there's no fear of spoilage. All people will know is that a rabbit is present, in some capacity. It's up to them to find out the magnitude of it.
Doc will have to do the deed, however. If you're inclined, Doc, you obviously have my permission. You can change the text to default, if it's still silver. I could really be a pain in the ass with font color, when I wanted to...
It actually worked! >_< Outstanding.
Thanks. Neg. The silver is fine, no worries. :)
In that case, you'd better add the 2022 version as well as Blink Twice. A bit of the plot does hinge on that.
I'll keep it in mind for the future. I did notice an uncommon amount of bunny references in previous nuts, so I was just keeping in tradition.
