Halo Legends (2010)

I played some Halo; it was a solid FPS but lacked a protagonist worth giving a damn about. Master Chief was blank, devoid of personality. Taking inspiration from the superior Animatrix (2003) anthology, including a similar two-part history, these seven animated shorts explore different aspects of the Halo Universe and like the game they’re too devoid of personality. They're boring, except for one: Odd One Out, starring the egotistical idiot Spartan 1337 was good times and is ironically the only non-canon piece. Unless you live, breathe and shit Halo there's little of interest here, even for anime fans.
