A device that enables psychotherapists to enter the dreams of patients is being abused and it’s up to a small group of people to prevent all hell breaking loose as a result. Reality bends at every turn, exploring themes that the director has proved his mastery of in previous works. Fans of those previous films will happy clap at references in this one.
Kon’s regular composer Susumu Hirasawa again adds his talents to the madness. It’s a match made in heaven. The parade music will stay with you forever. Essential viewing for anime fans.
