Released during the time when virtual reality was all the rage and rumored to be the “next big thing,” this flick is fun but full of cheesy, outdated effects. A bunch of kids play a video game with an intelligence all its own and are sucked into its world where they play by its rules. It's now 20 years later, and I was hoping virtual reality would have happened by now. Lord knows this reality ain’t doing it for me.2 bad ‘90s haircuts out of 5
